Ancillary Task - Applying a filter

I have used a filter for both of my images for my Ancillary task pictures, these filters were from photoshop and they worked well with my photo because the filter turns the picture black and white suits my magazine, for the poster I have used a slightly different filter which makes the background strounger in black and white, turning up the contrast aswell so that the white goes well with the black and it stands out.

On Wednesday I have planned to borrow a Digital Camera of my teacher to take pictures for my ancillary task, I will take pictures for both of my ancillary tasks.

Using GarageBand to answer question 4 briefly and other all the other possible ways to answer the questions.

Last week I have used GarageBand in a group to create a podcast that answered question 4. how did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? I did this to learn about GarageBand so that when I come to answer my questions later I will have the skills the create a podcast. Some of the things that I have done on GarageBand, is putting an image in at the correct moment and when it is exported as a audio file. will have have the so that it relates to the things that I say as the podcast goes on so the audience can have a visual  as well as an audio.




In this podcast there were things that could be improved for example my voice was not loud enough, and because I have done this podcast next time I will know that next time I will need to speak louder and maybe smoother so that my voice can be heard clearly. Looking at the exported version where the pictures show up as we are speaking is really helpful so I will definitely be using this in my podcast to give visual aid and additional information.

Other groups did Powerpoint, Slideshare and Prezi and out of those 3 I think that Powerpoint is good for a lot of information with visuals however Prezi stands out more than Powerpoint as it can have music playing while the presentation is going and the way that is is laid out it is easy to read and the animation is not too flashy but will keep your attention to it, because of this I plan to answer one of my questions in the Future with Prezi.
